Submitting to Deezer

Send your podcast to Deezer

First, search for your podcast on Deezer. If it is already listed, add the link to the existing show. Do not send a duplicate listing request.

Send the request from Podigee

  1. In the podcast settings, open Exports and Deezer.
  2. Read the terms shown there. Make sure that your public RSS feed contains the correct published episodes and that you can open the audio files. Do not use a personal feed with access credentials.
  3. If the button is available and you accept the terms, select Submit.

Add an existing show link

If your podcast is already on Deezer, use the option for an existing show. The example below calls this Click here. Enter the URL of the public podcast page on Deezer and save it.

The images show example screens. Names and available options can be different. A saved link is not a new submission.

Custom feed domains or a missing submission function

Deezer's current instructions list Podigee as a partner and tell hosted podcasts to use their host. If submission does not work with your feed URL, contact Podigee with the public feed URL and error message. Do not change your domain only to try a submission.

A redirect from your Podigee blog to another website is different from a custom feed domain. Deezer also has a submission form. Use that route if Deezer or Podigee tells you to use it for your case. It is not a general requirement for every custom domain.

After the request

Examine the response and later the public listing. Submission does not mean that Deezer accepted the podcast or that it appears in search. The processing times in Deezer's instructions are not fixed deadlines from Podigee.

If a podcast sent through Podigee is missing, contact Podigee with the feed URL, submission time and response. For a direct submission, use the contact options in Deezer's instructions. Podcast availability can be different in each country.

A new episode is missing from an existing Deezer show

  1. Open the exact existing Deezer show and check which episode is missing. Do not delete the show or submit it again.
  2. Check the episode's publication status and scheduled date, including the time zone, in Podigee. Open the public RSS feed used for the show. Confirm that the episode is present and that its enclosure audio URL plays without a login.
  3. If the episode or audio is missing from the feed, resolve that issue first. An episode appearing on Apple Podcasts does not replace this feed check.
  4. Record the publication time, time zone, and time of your last Deezer check. Note whether this affects one episode or happens repeatedly, and give the previous episode's release date.

Deezer refreshes feeds separately from publication in Podigee. Its current update and troubleshooting guidance describes its timing and special handling after a long publishing break. This is not a guaranteed publication deadline from Podigee.

If the problem persists or repeats for a show delivered through Podigee, contact Podigee Support. Include the public feed URL, episode link, existing Deezer show URL, the times above, and the result of the audio check. Do not send private feed credentials. For a show submitted directly to Deezer, use Deezer's support route in its guidance.
