Spotify's Podcast Directory

Spotify has podcasts for Spotify Free and Premium users. Podcasts can contain ads or sponsorship messages. Premium does not mean that every podcast has no ads. See Spotify's podcast information.

Submission, publication and search

A sent submission is not a public listing. Examine the connection status in Podigee and then the podcast page on Spotify. The direct page can be available before the show appears in search. This guide does not give a fixed publication time.

Use the Spotify publishing instructions for audio submission. For the API connection with video, use the separate Spotify Video instructions.

Custom feed domains

Examine the public feed URL used by your existing Spotify show. If submission fails with your domain, or the connection is not clear, contact Podigee with the feed URL and error message. Do not change the domain only to try another submission. Do not create a second show.

Remove a podcast from Spotify

For an audio submission through Podigee, Exports > Spotify can show Remove Podcast from Spotify. Before you continue, make sure that the action is for the correct show. Then examine the public status.

For Spotify Video, or if the connection is not clear, contact Podigee before a change. Disconnection of Spotify Video does not automatically restore RSS delivery. Do not delete an episode in Podigee to remove only a Spotify listing.
