Submitting to Apple Podcasts
Video delivery is a separate setup
Video podcasts are available to all accounts on the current plan lineup. Legacy plans do not include video podcasts. Video delivery must also be available for your show at Apple. Make sure that the correct show is in your Apple Podcasts Connect account. A claim is necessary only if you do not already have access.
Follow the API key and connection steps in Publish Video Podcasts on Apple Podcasts. A separate video RSS feed is a different delivery method. An audio listing or a current Podigee plan alone does not enable Apple's video connection.
Send your audio podcast to Apple Podcasts
First, make sure that your show is not already in Apple's catalog. If it is, use the existing listing and the correct account. Do not create a duplicate show.
Publish your podcast and at least one episode in Podigee. Make sure that the public RSS feed has the correct title, description, artwork, and episode file. Do not send a private feed with access credentials to the public catalog. See Apple's feed requirements.
Open Exports and the Apple Podcasts section. If your account shows Submit and link this podcast to Apple Podcasts, use it to open Apple Podcasts Connect with your feed URL. This step alone does not publish the show.
Sign in to Apple Podcasts Connect with your Apple Account. Examine the feed URL. If it is not filled in, add a new show with an RSS feed and enter your public Podigee feed URL.
The images below show an earlier interface. Use the current field names and messages in your account.

Click Add to add the show. A draft is not a published listing.

Wait for Apple to read the feed. Examine the title, artwork, and other imported information. If an error appears, correct its cause before you continue.

Open the show. Complete the requested contact information, Content Rights, and Availability settings. Make sure that the countries, release date, time, and time zone are correct.

Save the settings. When the show is ready, click Publish. Apple must validate and inspect the show before listeners can find it.

Examine the status in Apple Podcasts Connect. When the show is available, open its Apple Podcasts link and make sure that the episode plays.

Timing and problems
There is no fixed two- or three-day publication time. Adding a draft, saving settings, and clicking Publish are separate steps. A scheduled release can also keep an accepted show unavailable until the selected date.
If the show is missing, examine its status and any messages in Apple Podcasts Connect. Use Apple's status guide and current submission procedure. For a feed or file error, contact Podigee support. For an Apple account or approval issue, contact Apple.
After the first release, new episodes can take time to appear while Apple reads the feed. Examine the episode's publication status in Podigee and the public feed before you investigate Apple's listing.
