Spotify analytics

Spotify metrics and Podigee downloads measure different events. Use the definition shown with each metric. Do not use one listening-time threshold for all Spotify and Podigee reports.

Examine the delivery route

For audio delivered from Podigee, qualifying file requests can appear in Podigee download analytics. Playback of a copy stored by Spotify does not automatically request the Podigee audio file.

The Spotify Video connection can use a separate route for audio and video. Available provider metrics and reporting periods can be different. An active connection or saved Spotify link alone does not show that all provider metrics are imported.

Compare reports carefully

Use the same episode and date range. Examine the metric name, source, and last update shown in the report. This guide does not give a fixed nightly update or two-day delay for every connection.

For Spotify's own reports, use Spotify for Creators. If figures are missing or unclear in Podigee, contact support with the podcast, episode, date range, metric name, and connection type. Do not send passwords or access codes.
