Use Alexa Skill URL for the Amazon Store page of an existing skill. Do not enter an RSS feed URL or a direct audio file URL in this field.

Saving this link does not create or publish a skill. First make sure that the Store page is for the correct skill and that the skill is available to your intended listeners.

Two different skill types

Flash Briefing supplies short content that is updated regularly. Amazon continues to document this skill type. The earlier statement in this article that Flash Briefing had been discontinued was not supported. Use Amazon's Flash Briefing instructions for setup, feed requirements, and publication.

Music, Radio, and Podcast Skills use a different technical integration. An RSS feed or a saved Store link alone does not set up that integration. Read the current participation conditions in Amazon's Music, Radio, and Podcast Skill instructions before you plan an integration.

Test playback

A listing on Amazon Music, Spotify, or Apple Podcasts does not show that your podcast is available through every Alexa service. Examine the selected service and account settings. Test playback on the actual device. Voice commands and available functions depend on the service and skill.
