Episode Permalink

An episode permalink is the permanent URL that directly links to a specific podcast episode.

This link allows you to easily and reliably share or reference the episode – for example, on social media, in emails, blogs, or other platforms.

A permalink typically looks like this:
https://yourpodcastname.podigee.io/episodenumber-slug

The URL slug is the unique, descriptive part of the URL added at the end, for example:
https://yourpodcastname.podigee.io/1-my-first-episode

It’s important to know that the slug always appears after the episode number, and these two elements together form the complete permalink. If you adjust the slug, the episode number remains unchanged, and the permalink is updated accordingly. However, note that changes to the permalink may cause older links to stop working. Therefore, you should share or update the new permalink once it’s changed.

If you use an external website for the Podigee blog, the "Permalink" field cannot be applied and will therefore not be displayed.
