Social media: Twitter connection

Share episode links on X/Twitter

If the X/Twitter connection is available and active in your account, Podigee can send a post with your specified text and the episode link when you publish an episode. Valid authorization is necessary.

Enable the option to post when an episode is published in the connection settings. Episodes created by a podcast import do not trigger these automatic posts.

This function shares a link. It does not send your podcast to a podcast directory or upload the audio file as a separate post. A published episode alone does not show that the social media post was successful.

If the post is missing

1. Make sure that the episode is published and its public link works.
2. Examine the connection and error messages in your account. If the account shows instructions for a new sign-in or authorization, follow those instructions.
3. Look at your X/Twitter account for the post before you share the link again.
4. If the connection is missing or the error continues, give support the podcast name, episode, publication time and error message. Do not send passwords or access tokens.

You can also share the public episode link manually on X/Twitter. An automatic connection is not necessary for manual sharing.
