Access protection is a separate setting

Labels and feed filters select the episodes in a feed. They do not limit access to specified people. The name "premium" does not make a feed private.

Confidential content needs a protected podcast with access control. Make sure that the access control works before you publish confidential content. Do not share personal feed links with access credentials in public.

🏷️ Use labels to control which episodes appear in your custom feed.

Example: You want to create a premium feed with exclusive content. In the episode settings (under the “Feeds” tab within each episode), assign the label premium to the relevant episodes.
Then enter this label here in the feed filter. The feed will only include episodes that have this label.

This allows you to create different feeds for different purposes or audiences – all within a single podcast.
