Episode Season Number

The season number identifies the season of an episode. Use a whole number greater than 0, for example 1 or 2.

For a serial podcast, you can enter the episode season in Podigee. The RSS feed uses <itunes:season> for this value. Season number and episode number are separate fields.

The Podigee input fields and the functions of an app are different. Apple Podcasts can also show supplied season numbers for episodic shows. This does not mean that all Podigee show formats supply the same season fields.

After a change, check the RSS feed and the episode in the app. Apps can show episodes in different orders with the same season number. See the Apple season and episode-order instructions.
