Podcast cover image

The podcast cover is the main image for your show. Upload it under Podcast > General. It appears in the RSS feed. Podcast apps control how they show it.

For an image for one episode, use the separate episode cover.

Requirements

For Apple Podcasts artwork sent through an RSS feed, use a square PNG or JPG image from 1400 × 1400 to 3000 × 3000 pixels. Apple prefers the largest size. Do not use transparency or an alpha channel.

See Apple's show cover requirements. A general 72 dpi requirement is not specified there. Follow the separate size and dimension instructions in the Podigee upload field.

The cover uploader in the Podigee web app accepts files up to 2 MB (2,048 KiB). Larger files are rejected before upload. This file-size check is separate from podcast platforms’ artwork requirements.
