Submitting to Amazon Music / Audible

Send your podcast to Amazon Music / Audible

Use the Amazon connection in Podigee to send a request for a podcast listing on Amazon Music / Audible. A sent request does not mean that the podcast is publicly available.

Before you start

First, search for your podcast on Amazon Music. If it is already listed, do not send a new listing request. Use Amazon Music for Podcasters for an existing show, or contact support.

Make sure that your public RSS feed contains the correct published episodes and that you can open the audio files. Do not use a personal feed with access credentials.

Send the request from Podigee

  1. In the podcast settings, open Exports and the Amazon Music / Audible section.
  2. Read the terms and the submission information shown there.
  3. If the button is available and you accept the terms, select Submit.
  4. Examine the response. If an error occurs, the submission is not successfully completed. Contact Podigee with the error message.

The image shows an example screen. Names and available options can be different.

After the request

Examine the status and then the public podcast page. A response that the request was received is not approval for publication or a specified publication time. Also search in the Amazon service that your listeners use.

The connection sends the RSS feed. It does not move your podcast to another host. The provider's terms give the conditions for storage and use of content.

If the submission function is missing from your account, contact Podigee. Use Amazon Music for Podcasters for the current direct submission and show management options. Use only one submission route to prevent duplicate listings.

An episode is missing from an existing show

Do not submit the show again. First check the episode and the feed used by the existing listing.

  1. Open the episode in Podigee and check that it is published, not only scheduled.
  2. Check that processing has finished.
  3. Compare the feed used by the existing Amazon listing with your public Podigee feed.
  4. Open that feed and find the episode.
  5. Open the episode media link to check that it plays without a sign-in.
  6. Check the existing show separately on Amazon Music and Audible.

An episode on Amazon Music does not prove that it is also visible on Audible.

If the episode or media is missing from the correct Podigee feed, contact Podigee Support. If the feed is correct, use Amazon Music for Podcasters for the existing show and its support options. Include the episode link, publication time and time zone, feed URL, affected listing link, and any error. State which service is missing the episode.

These checks identify where the update stops. They do not guarantee a platform refresh time.
