Submitting to Pandora

How to Submit Your Podcast to Pandora

If you're eager to get your Podigee podcast onto Pandora, the popular streaming platform, you're in the right place. However, before you dive into the submission process, it's important to note that you'll need to set up accounts with both Pandora AMP and Simplecast. This two-account setup is crucial for getting your Podigee podcast listed on Pandora's platform seamlessly.

Follow the steps below to ensure a smooth submission process:

  1. Create a Pandora AMP Account: You'll be prompted to create a Pandora AMP account. This account is essential for managing your podcast submissions and accessing Pandora's Artist Marketing Platform (AMP) tools. Follow the registration process to set up your Pandora AMP account.
  2. Create a Simplecast Account: In the "Podcast" section of Pandora's submission process, you'll notice a reference to "Simplecast". Simplecast is a podcast hosting platform that Pandora utilizes for podcast submissions. To proceed, you'll need to create a Simplecast account as well.

  3. Add Your Show on Simplecast: Once your Simplecast account is set up, navigate to your dashboard. Look for "Your Shows" and the option to Add Shows. Follow the prompts to input your Podigee RSS feed. The Podigee RSS feed contains all the necessary information about your podcast, including episodes and metadata.

  4. Wait for Approval: After submitting your podcast, Pandora's team will review it to ensure it meets their content guidelines and quality standards. This process may take some time, so be patient. You'll receive a notification via email once your podcast is approved and live on Pandora's platform.
  5. Enter the Show URL in the Podigee UI: Enter your show URL in the Podigee interface under "Exports" -> "Pandora". This entry will then also be displayed in the Podigee web player.

By following these steps and setting up both a Pandora AMP and Simplecast account, you'll be well on your way to getting your podcast listed on Pandora. Good luck!
