Submitting to RTL+

Send your podcast to RTL+

Use RTL+ for Podcasters to send your public podcast for approval. Sending the podcast does not mean that RTL+ approved it.

Before you start

First, find out if your podcast is already on RTL+. Use the existing show link if it is. For a new submission, use your public Podigee RSS feed. Make sure that you have the rights to the content. Do not use a private feed with access credentials.

About the images

The images show earlier screens. Labels, sign-in steps, and verification can change. Follow the current instructions in the RTL+ portal. Some provider labels are in German.

Procedure

1. In Podigee, open the RTL+ card under Exports, if available. You can also open RTL+ for Podcasters directly. The button opens the submission route. It does not show that publication is completed.

   

   

2. Sign in to RTL+ or register an account. Follow the current email verification instructions. Do not share verification links or codes in public.

   

   

3. In the RTL+ dashboard, select Podcast einreichen. This German label means that you can send your podcast. Paste your public RSS feed. If the field already has a link, make sure that it is correct. Use the feed validation action and correct any errors. A link in the field does not show that you sent the submission.

   

   

4. Enter the requested podcast information and select the correct category.

   

5. Follow the current authorization steps. If RTL+ sends a message to the email address in the feed, make sure that you can receive it. An email address in a public feed can be public.

   

   

6. Read the terms and send the submission if you accept them. The RTL+ team examines the podcast. Approval can take more than 24 hours. Examine the portal status and messages from RTL+.
7. After approval, open the public show on RTL+. Examine the episodes and playback. Then save the show link under Exports > RTL+ in Podigee, if the field is available. Examine the link in your published web player. Its settings can change which links it shows.

If there is a problem

Examine the feed link and error message. For approval or RTL+ account problems, use the help in the RTL+ portal. For a Podigee feed problem, contact Podigee Support. Do not send passwords or verification codes.
