Network | Access Protection
With Network Access Protection, you can, just like with individual protected podcasts, restrict public access to the RSS feed and blog page of an entire podcast network. This means that only authorized individuals with login credentials can access the content.
This feature is available starting from the Business Pro Plan.
🔑 How does the protection work?
Once Network Access Protection is activated:
- The network’s RSS feed and the automatically generated Podigee blog are password-protected.
- An individual RSS feed is created for each listener, allowing them to continue using their preferred podcast app (e.g. Apple Podcasts, Overcast, etc.).
- Access to the content is only possible with a username and password.
📌 Good to know: Network Access Protection helps you distribute your content in a targeted and controlled way. The technical implementation is server-side, ensuring that your content is not publicly discoverable, neither through podcast directories nor search engines.
