Schedule Publication | Episode Publication in Advance

You can schedule an episode for a future date. Media processing and publication are different steps. A saved time alone does not show that audio processing is completed or that the episode is public.

Schedule publication

1. Open the episode. Under Media File, make sure that the correct audio file is uploaded. Examine errors or processing that is still in progress.
2. Open the publication options, for example with Publish... Select publication at a later time, if this option is available.

3. Set the date and time. Examine the time zone, especially when you travel or daylight saving time changes.
4. Examine the processing options. Select Schedule Publication, if this is the action in your account.
5. Open the episode again. Examine the saved time and processing status. Correct errors before the scheduled time.

Examine processing and publication

The publication action can start necessary processing. If the media files are already correct for the settings, the action can change only the publication time. Do not start additional encoding only because of this guide. Follow the episode options and status messages. Contact Podigee if processing is not clear.

Allow time for processing and error correction. After the scheduled time, examine the public episode page and RSS feed. External platforms get updates through their own procedures. Publication in Podigee does not mean that Apple Podcasts, Spotify and other apps update at the same time.
