Podcast recommendations in the RSS feed

Podroll lets you recommend other podcasts through your RSS feed. Podigee puts the selection in the <podcast:podroll> element. Podcast apps and directories can show these recommendations if they support Podroll. Each app controls its display.

In Podigee, you can select a maximum of four other published podcasts from your account that are hosted on Podigee. This limit is for the selection in Podigee. Podcast owners and organization admins can edit the recommendations.

Select recommendations

  1. Open your podcast and the Feeds tab.
  2. Find the Podroll field. It appears if your account has other published podcasts and you have the necessary edit permissions.
  3. Select a maximum of four podcasts. The selection is saved automatically.
  4. Make sure that the recommendations appear in your RSS feed. A podcast app with Podroll support can take more time to get the updated feed data.

Show the recommendations in your blog

The More from us section in the Standard blog uses the same selection. Select the separate checkbox in the Blog tab to show the recommendations. The selection in the Feeds tab alone does not enable the blog display. If the checkbox is clear, the feed recommendations stay the same.

See More from us in the blog. To remove a recommendation from the RSS feed, remove the podcast from the selection in the Feeds tab.
