Set a Location | Location Tag
With the new Location Tag feature, you can add locations to your podcasts or individual episodes. This allows you to specify whether an episode or podcast is about a certain place or was recorded at a certain place.
Using the search input field, you can easily look up and select locations, for example “Berlin” or more specific places like the “Brandenburg Gate.” The chosen location will then be displayed on the map so you can verify it. In addition, each location requires a custom name, which you can choose freely. This is the only mandatory field that must be filled out.
What can I use it for?
“… is about this location” -> The episode/podcast is thematically related to the location.
“… was recorded at this location” -> The episode/podcast was produced at the location.
💡 You can also enter fictional or free-form locations that do not exist on the map (e.g., “Hogwarts” for a fan podcast). In this case, the custom name alone is sufficient without selecting from the map.
Locations you’ve already added can be edited or removed at any time.
