Generate and Add Ad Markers via AI | AI Ad Marker Suggestion
With AI-powered suggestions for ad marker placement, you can automatically find optimal positions for ads in your episodes. The AI analyzes your audio file and suggests positions that are naturally suited for ad breaks – for example after content sections or during longer pauses.
❗ This feature is only available for podcasts using dynamic monetization with AdsWizz or the Podigee Ad Marketplace and the paid AI add-on.
What are AI-powered ad marker suggestions?
The AI analyzes your episode and identifies positions that are well suited for ad markers. It takes into account natural pauses in the conversation as well as content transitions. For each suggestion, you receive:
- The length of the pause at that position (e.g. “2.5 seconds”)
- The content context following the suggested position
- The exact timestamp
Depending on the episode length, the AI suggests an appropriate number of positions: usually 2 - 3 markers for episodes under 20 minutes, 3 - 4 markers for episodes between 20 and 40 minutes, and 4 - 5 markers for longer episodes.
💡 In addition, you can listen to each suggested position: starting 10 seconds before the proposed ad marker, a short preview is played so you can decide for yourself whether the position fits
How to use this feature
1. Generate suggestions
Open an episode and switch to the Audio Insertion tab. Find Suggest markers and then Generate with AI.
2. Review suggestions
After generation, you will see a list of suggested positions. Each suggestion shows:
- The pause length at that position
- A description of the content context
- The exact timestamp
Click the rewind icon to listen to the position starting 10 seconds earlier.
3. Add ad markers
Like a suggested position? Click Add marker. Optionally, you can give the marker a custom title (e.g. “Mid Roll 1”). The marker will then appear in your ad marker list below the waveform.
⚠️ You can only add one suggestion at a time. Repeat the process for additional markers.
4. Generate new suggestions
If you upload a new audio file for the episode, you can generate the suggestions again. The previous suggestions will be replaced with new ones – however, already added markers remain unchanged.
