An episode is missing from Apple Podcasts

Use this procedure for a new episode of an RSS podcast that is already on Apple Podcasts. Initial submission and a separate video upload are different procedures.

Examine the episode and feed

  1. In Podigee, make sure that processing is completed and the episode is published. A future publication date is not a published episode.
  2. Open the public RSS feed used by Apple. Make sure that it contains the episode and that you can play the audio file.
  3. In Apple Podcasts Connect, examine the show status and the last feed refresh. Correct any errors shown there.
  4. If the feed is correct but Apple still does not show the episode after a few hours, select Refresh Feed.

Apple usually shows feed changes within a few hours. This is not a fixed deadline. Individual apps can update at different times.

If the episode is missing from the Podigee feed, contact Podigee support with the podcast, episode and publication time. If the feed is correct but Apple does not update, use the support link in Apple's feed refresh procedure.
