Podcast Title
Change the public name of your podcast. This changes the show title, not an episode title or the podcast web address.
Before you start
You need permission to edit podcast information. Wait until an initial import has finished. Keep the title short and clear.
Rename the podcast in the classic view
- Open the podcast.
- Select General.
- Change Title.
- Wait for Autosaved, or select Save if shown.
- Reload the page and check the title.
Leave Name (subdomain) unchanged. That field controls the podcast web address and feed address.
Rename the podcast in the Podigee workspace
- Open the podcast and select Settings.
- On Show details, select Edit details.
- Change Show title.
- Select Save details.
- Open the details again and check the title.
Check the result
The saved podcast title is the new name of your show. For a published podcast, also check the public RSS feed. Its show-level <title> field carries the title. Podcast platforms must process the change before their display updates.
If the title does not change
If the field is read-only, ask the podcast owner to check your permissions. If saving fails, read the message and correct the marked field. If the saved title changes back, send Podigee Support the podcast link and the error message. Do not create another podcast to rename this one.
