YouTube Export

After you have linked your Google YouTube account with Podigee, a video of your episode will automatically be published on YouTube. A preview of the video and the link to the YouTube video will be displayed under the “Social” tab.
By default, a video is produced that displays the cover image of the episode for the entire duration. If you want to make the video a little more interesting, we recommend adding chapter markers with images in 16:9 format. This will cause the image displayed in the video to change at the end of the corresponding timestamp. Start with the timestamp 00:00:00. You can find out more about this in our help article on chapter markers.
Depending on how long the published episode is, publishing will take significantly longer than without exporting to YouTube.
In addition, the video will not be available on YouTube immediately after encoding, as the transfer to YouTube and the processing that takes place there still takes a while. Our video creation will also only start after the audio encoding has been completed; you will not notice this in the foreground of the app.
Please note: For all episodes that were published or scheduled for publication before the connection was established, the video must be created retrospectively:
To do this, go to the “Media files” tab of the respective episode. Click on “Update audio file” to create a video, which is then automatically uploaded to YouTube.
