Multi-Track Upload

🎤 How It Works

The Multi Track Upload feature allows you to upload multiple audio tracks for a single episode. This is especially useful if you’ve recorded different speakers separately and want to combine their tracks into one episode during post-production.

Automatic Track Naming and Contributor Assignment

When uploading an audio file, the file name is automatically used as the track name. You can edit this name at any time.

You can also assign contributors (e.g., speakers) to each individual audio track. These contributors must first be created in your podcast settings under the “Team” tab.

Steps for a Multi Track Upload

  1. Create contributors (if needed)
Go to your podcast settings → “Team” tab → Add new contributor.
  2. Upload audio file
Drag and drop your audio file into the upload area or select it manually.
  3. Check the track name and assign a contributor
    • The track name will be taken automatically from the file name. You can adjust it if necessary.
    • Select the appropriate contributor from the dropdown list (must be created beforehand).
  4. Proceed with Step 2 for further audio files till all files of your speakers are uploaded.
  5. Finish the upload
Click Submit audio tracks to finalize the upload of all tracks.

What Happens After Upload?

Once all desired audio tracks have been uploaded and assigned, they will be automatically combined and encoded into a single MP3 file. This final version is created server-side and saved as your complete episode.
