Submitting to Apple Podcasts
Want to publish video podcasts on Apple Podcasts?
Apple also lets you publish your podcast as a video podcast on Apple Podcasts. The setup happens directly on the Apple Podcasts card under Exports, in the additional Video on Apple Podcasts section. You'll need to claim your podcast and have an Apple Podcasts Connect API key, and Apple has to explicitly approve your podcast for video.

Submitting your audio podcast to Apple Podcasts
With Podigee, you can submit your podcast feed to Apple Podcasts in just a few steps. Here's how to publish your podcast there.
Under Exports, you'll find the Apple Podcasts section. Clicking the button "Submit and link this podcast to Apple Podcasts" sends your Podigee feed URL to Apple Podcasts Connect, so you can later publish your podcast there.
You'll then be redirected to Apple Podcasts Connect — Apple's portal for managing your podcasts. To use it, you'll need an Apple ID (or create one). Once you're signed in, Apple Podcasts Connect shows you a dialog with your Podigee feed URL pre-filled.
As soon as you click Add, your podcast appears as a draft in your Apple Podcasts Connect profile.
Apple needs a moment to import your podcast with all its information. Usually you'll see your podcast with your cover art within a few minutes — in some cases, the import can take 1 to 2 business days:
Now you can click on your podcast and fill in Availability and Content Rights. You need to save these details before the purple Publish button (top right) becomes active and your podcast is published on Apple Podcasts.
Your podcast is now published on Apple Podcasts and you can open the Apple Podcasts URL shown in the overview.
💡 The initial wait is 2–3 days. After that, new episodes you publish appear on Apple Podcasts shortly after release.
The export and publishing aren't working?
This is usually because some details on the Podigee side aren't set yet or aren't correct. To publish your podcast on Apple Podcasts, all of the following must be true:
- Your podcast is published (the Publish button has been clicked).
- Your podcast has a description (under the General tab).
- Your podcast has a square cover image, ideally 3000 × 3000 pixels (under the General tab).
- Your podcast has at least one published episode (under the Episodes tab).
- You've added a copyright for your podcast (under the General tab).
