Update artwork in Spotify

After you change the podcast cover in Podigee, Spotify must receive the change. This guide does not give a fixed update time.

Examine the new cover

  1. Make sure that you saved the new cover for the correct podcast. A podcast cover and an episode cover are separate images.
  2. For RSS delivery, open the image URL from the public feed. It must show the new image without a login.
  3. For the Spotify Video API connection, examine the connection status and error messages. Use the Spotify Video instructions for this delivery method.
  4. Open the correct Spotify show page and examine the image there. Search results can show an older preview.

Use the Podigee cover image instructions for the upload. Spotify and Apple do not necessarily have the same requirements or image display.

If the feed contains the wrong image or an error appears, contact Podigee support. Give the podcast link, image URL and time of the change. Do not delete the podcast or send it as a new show to update the cover.
